Background

Ever since I can remember, I've been curious: about how things work, about going deeper into what interests me, and about solving problems. Maths, physics, astronomy and art were my favorite subjects at school, and I still feel most at home where logic and aesthetics meet. That curiosity, and a soft spot for well-crafted experiences, analog or digital, led me through visual computing science to Media Design and into building brands. I've always looked after the things I own, and I bring the same care to my work: I like making things that are considered and built to last.

Design Philosophy

My background has shaped how I design: I aim to minimize cognitive load. People arrive at a screen or a package already carrying a lot, so good design shouldn't compete for their attention. I work with space, restraint and consistency, letting things breathe and keeping layouts predictable through repetition and alignment. Visual quiet isn't emptiness. It's respect for the person looking, and it gives their mind a little room to rest.

I want to craft experiences that invite people in. When a design is authentic and unforced, people interact with it naturally, without being pushed.

What I love most about design is how adjusting even the smallest detail can change an entire experience. It's not only about aesthetics, but about the feeling that everything is just right, because often it's the little things that make your day.

At the heart of my work is empathy. There is always an individual, complex and unique, on the other side of the screen or the print. Interfaces should feel intuitive, and finding what you're looking for should be easy. My goal is to craft products that make people feel good and blend seamlessly into daily life.

Things I Love

I find a lot of calm in watching the nature around me, and it quietly shapes how I design. Design also decides where I shop and where I go for a coffee, because a well-considered space will usually win me over. I love taking photos, I've been swimming since I was young, and I enjoy bouldering, even if I'm not especially good at it. When I'm not outside, you'll probably find me at a table with a tabletop game, preferably a deck-builder. And if there's Japanese food involved, I'm already in.
